London's Airports

Getting to the Airports

Heathrow Airport is 32 km from the city centre. The quickest way to get there is on the Heathrow Express train from Paddington Station. Alternatively, you can use the London Underground's Piccadilly Line. Stansted Airport is located 48 km from the centre of London and can be reached on the Stansted Express train from London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale stations. The journey takes about 47 and 36 minutes respectively. Luton Airport is located 60 km from London and is accessible by train leaving from London's central railway stations and arriving at Luton Airport Parkway Station. Local buses depart from the station every 10 minutes for the airport terminals. Taxis are also an option, but they are quite expensive.
