Getting to the airport
Schiphol International Airport is located 20 km southwest of Amsterdam and is easily accessible by train, bus or taxi. Every 5 minutes the Amsterdam Airport Express (bus no. 197) departs from the city centre. Trains leave for Schiphol from Amsterdam’s central train station. The fast Intercity Direct gets you to the airport in 14 minutes. To get to the airport by taxi use the Schiphol Travel Taxi service and make an online booking. Prices are reasonable.
