Transportation to the airport

Dusseldorf International Airport is located 8 km north of Dusseldorf. It is accessible by train, bus or taxi. The fastest way to get to the airport from the city centre is to take the S11 line of the suburban train (S-Bahn) connecting the city's main railway station (D -Hauptbahnhof) to the airport's subway station (D-Flughafen Terminal) in 12 minutes. Trains depart every 15 - 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the S1 line connecting the city's railway station with the train station in the eastern part of the airport (D-Flughafen).
