The airport of Riyadh
Aegean Airlines operates through King Khalid International Airport at the capital Riyadh. This is an ultra-modern architectural facility with four terminals. Here you will find duty free shops, restaurants, cafes, a post office, banks, ATMs, internet kiosks and free Wi-Fi. There are also luxury hotels operating at the airport and a mosque. Note that there are no bars at the airport as alcohol is strictly forbidden throughout the kingdom.
Transportation to the airport
King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh is located 35 km north of the city. Taxi is the only available public transportation in Riyadh. To get to the airport, choose one of the authorised taxis bearing the airport label and make sure you agree the fare in advance. The journey from the city centre to the airport takes 30 minutes.
