Madrid Airport
Aegean Airlines operates through the international airport in Madrid: Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport. The largest airport in Spain, in terms of passenger traffic, offers many amenities for travellers. At the airport, you will find among other things, retail stores and restaurants, banks and foreign exchange points, a clinic, pharmacies and a post office. Wi-Fi is free for 15 minutes.
Getting to the Airport
The airport in Barajas is located 12 km east of Madrid. To get to the airport, you can take the metro from two centrally located stations in the city: Madrid Atocha and Madrid Chamartin. You can also take one of six buses (200, Express, 101, 822, 824, 827, 828) depending on where you are setting out from. The Barajas airport is also connected by bus to other cities in Spain. If you choose to go to the airport by taxi, the journey from the city centre costs about €30.
