Helsinki airport
Aegean Airlines operates through Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport. The airport features numerous duty free shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, wine bars, ATM’s, foreign exchange counters, a children’s playroom and a hair salon. Specially arranged areas with internet kiosks and units for recharging electronic devices make surfing the web a pleasant affair and Wi-Fi is free throughout the airport. Helsinki-Vantaa is not just an airport, it’s also an “art port”, and as such it is an open gallery full of modern sculptures for passengers to admire. Getting to the airport
Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport is located 12 km north of Helsinki and is accessible by bus or taxi. The best way to get to the airport is to take the Finnair City Bus that connects Helsinki’s Central Railway Station to the airport in just 30 minutes. Buses depart every 20 minutes, from 05:00 to 00:00. Alternatively, public bus Νο 615 (Νο 620 at night) follows the same route (Helsinki Central Railway Station-Airport) daily, making special stops outside the 2 airport terminals. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
