The airport of Hanover
Aegean Airlines operates through Hanover Airport. At the airport you will find a variety of duty-free shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks, ATMs, foreign exchange offices, postal services, children's play areas, a pharmacy and a hair salon. There are also two prayer rooms available (Christian and Muslim religion). Airport guests are offered a charged Wi-Fi service (Wi-Fi is free for the first 60 minutes). For travellers non owning any portable devices connecting to the Internet, there are internet booths available at the departures hall of Terminal C (Café SkyLounge).
Transportation to the airport
Hanover Airport is located 15 km north from Hanover city centre. It is accessible by train, bus or taxi. The fastest way to get to the airport is to take the S5 line of the suburban train (S-bahn) from the city's Central Railway Station (Hanover Hauptbahnhof) to the airport (Hanover Flughafen). Trains depart every 30 minutes (from 03.35 to 01.05) and the journey takes 18 minutes. The train station is located in Terminal C.
