Edinburgh Airport
Aegean Airlines departs from Edinburgh International Airport, the largest airport in Scotland. Here you will find duty-free shops, exclusive luxury brand boutiques, a bookshop, gift shops and galleries with contemporary Scottish art for sale. There are also a currency exchange bureau and ATMs, restaurants, cafes and pubs, dry cleaning and a prayer room. There are three play areas for children and baby change rooms. The airport offers a free Wi-Fi service (free access for 2 hours per day for each device) as well as internet desks with PCs (for a charge), internet kiosks and charging stations.
Getting to the airport
Edinburgh International Airport is located 12 km from the city centre and can be reached by tram, bus and taxi. The easiest way is by tram, which connects the city centre with the airport (York Place - Edinburgh Airport). Trams depart every 8-10 minutes and the journey time is approximately 35 minutes. Alternatively, you can take express Airlink 100 service, which also connects the city centre with the airport (Waverley Bridge - Edinburgh Airport) every 10 minutes. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. The N22 night bus runs after midnight (between 00.10 - 04.10), every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes at weekends, departing from Princes Street for the airport.
