Albania's airport
Aegean Airlines operates through the only airport in Albania: Nënë Tereza International Airport in Tirana. Also known as Rinas Airport or International Tirana Airport, it is modern and well organised. Here you will find many shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks and ATMs, foreign exchange counters, lounges and free Wi-Fi.
Getting to the airport in Albania
Nënë Tereza International Airport is located 17 km north-west of the capital city of Tirana and is easily reached by taxi or bus. The fastest way to get to the airport from the city centre is by taxi. The journey takes 20-25 minutes and costs 2,500 Lek (about €17). Buses run from 6 am to 6 pm. They depart every hour and connect the airport to the National History Museum in the city centre. Tickets cost 250 Lek (€1.70).
