Shopping in Copenhagen is a style-rich experience, especially for design lovers. Don your comfiest shoes and embark on a shopping spree, starting from the city centre and the famous Strøget. The largest and oldest pedestrian shopping street in Europe, it is made up of four streets (Frederiksberggade, Vimmelskaftet, Amagertorv and Østergade), hosting all top international chain stores, department stores and exclusive boutiques of famous brands. • Roskilde Festival: One of the greatest rock festivals in the world, held without fail since 1971 in the city Roskilde, an hour away from Copenhagen. Every July, thousands of people camp here to participate in a wild four-day rock concert party with eight stages and 200 bands and solo artists, featuring names such as the Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys and Jack White.
• Copenhagen Jazz Festival: Every July and for ten days, the city of Copenhagen becomes more lively and moves to the beat of jazz music, from the streets and squares to the jazz clubs and concert halls. It is one of the oldest festivals of the city (in 2015 it celebrates 37 years) with more than 250,000 spectators every year and a special jazz program for children.
• Copenhagen Distorion: The largest street party and club festival in Copenhagen, explores partying culture as an event and ides through street parties, dance, art rock, tech house, freestyle hip hop, polka and street art. The festival is held for five days every June and attracts more than 300,000 people. Every night, the action is transferred at a new neighbourhood in the city and the festival culminates with the “Final Party”.

Transportation from the airport

Aegean Airlines lands on Copenhagen - Kastrup Airport (CPH), 8 km south-east from Copenhagen. Here you will find many duty free shops, banks, ATMs, foreign exchange offices, cafés, bars and restaurants. The airport services also include children's play areas and special teenager's lounges, a prayer hall, many boutiques with well known brands of Scandinavian design and post office. If you want to surf the web, you will find many internet kiosks at terminals 2 and 3. Wi-Fi is available for a fee, unless you are a member of the CPH privilege program (member registration is for free). The fastest and cheapest way to get to the city centre is to catch the subway (Lufthavne - Vanlose) yellow line M2 from Lufthavnen station at the airport to the Norreport station in the centre of Copenhagen. Services are available every 4-6 minutes (morning and afternoon) and every 15-20 minutes (night hours). The journey takes 15 minutes.
